About Us

The work of Treating Autism has three main strands

We are a Membership Society that provides parents with a lifeline. Members receive a regular newsletter with developments in the biomedical and therapeutic world, a lending library of autism-specific resources, special offers with essential suppliers and discounts on conferences.

We run Local Groups across the United Kingdom where often-isolated parents can meet to discuss treatment, get support - or just let off steam.

We organise Conferences and Parent to Parent events across the UK. Attendance at our conferences literally changes lives. See Events for our next conference.

Highlights and interviews with our 2011 conference speakers are now available on our Treating Autism YouTube channel

To learn more about us and our work view a Treating Autism Special report that aired on Autism Mothers TV channel following our June 2011 London conference.

Treating Autism is a proud member of the Autism Collaboration - its members include Autism Research Institute (ARI), Autism One, Generation Rescue, National Autism Association, SafeMinds, Schafer Autism Report, Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) and Unlocking Autism.
